My Brain: "ZZZZZZZZZZ" Yesterday really killed me. By 12:00 I was ready to go home (I had only been there an hour and I had 11 more to go). I was so close to tears because I just wanted to be home. It was crazy. It was an odd homesick feeling. I've never felt this way at work... I was so confused. Daniel was even at work until 3. Oh well, no pictures today. Too tired.

Oh what a Monday

I walked this morning and I am so proud of myself for getting up early enough to go walking. :) The cows were being super weird though. They usually ignore me.


Oh my, today was much more than I bargained for.. craziness ALL DAY! Admits and discharges and orders and call bell ringing and phone calls... AHHH!!!


When I was leaving I had gotten to the first floor and I slipped and fell in a little puddle of water. I went down on my left knee. I'm ok just a bruise.

Happy Father's Day!

I have the best daddy in the world! :) So, what else to do than spend my entire day with him!

Went to work today just like every Saturday. We have a family that brings us 2 or 3 cases of Ferro Rochers every day! Mmm! They make my day much happier.


While trying to distract Daniel from a rough day I ended up scaring him a little... not on purpose I assure you.

Floor Prep

Today we cleaned up our spare bedroom so Daniel's brother Jacob could spend the night. :) It is nice to have this room semi usable. What you can't see in this picture? A big pile of junk in the corner blanketed with curtains. :)


We also went back to Gail's to do more work on the floor. We pulled up staples and such.
We also had a visit by Evan's Dad Winston. :)

Carpet

So, my mother-in-law is getting new flooring put in her house. Tonight we (Daniel and Jacob) ripped up the carpet. Jenny and I 'helped' haha no really we did we moved furniture and books and ripped up the padding that was under the carpet. The boys worked really hard!

Working on My Day Off

So, Yesterday I got a call to see if I could work today 7-3 of course I HAD to say yes! :) Ugh! It was terrible! I did however find out that I am doing a good job with diet and exercise because instead of wanting a cigarette or something fattening to eat I wanted to run! :) So proud! No pics today.

So, at work today it was going pretty smoothly until the last four hours when, during my lunch break, this happened. Yep, balsamic vinegarette.

Working Sunday

I like Sundays... I REALLY love Sundays. Sundays at work are very slow which has it's perks, but mostly the day drags by sooo sloooowly. I love church and it's hard to be at work when I know I could be at church.

This is what 520am looks like for those of you that didn't know such an hour existed. Beautiful eh?


Sooo rainy after work, but I am determined, absolutely determined, to get healthy!

Twenty Nine

New Meal plan FAIL today... hahaha I HAD to have a piece of Pizza... :) Be proud though I only had two or three bites and then gave the rest to Daniel. I will tell you I have noticed that my body is 'sooo over' junk foods. Every time I eat pizza or chips I get terrible indigestion.

Day 28

I got glasses today! I thought I'd only use them while driving but it seems I need them all the time. I really love them! Everything is so crisp and clear.

So Long, Farewell Number Four

So, we finally got puppy to his new home. I met his new 'daddy' in Rolesville today. It was good though, no tears. Daisy was a bit confused I think she thinks we left him in that McDonald's parking lot. I took her with me so she could see him leave with hope that she wouldn't look for him. She was getting a bit attached I hope she doesn't get too upset. To distract her I took her to Petsmart and let her pick out two toys. :) It was funny I may have to post the video. Here are some pictures of the drive to Rolesville.

I hope his new owners can change his name from Puppy. :)

Food..

If I could give up one human necessity it would be food. I would go without eating forever. I know that sounds funny and I know that food is REALLY good, but it causes too much drama. Like for instance the fact that food that is bad for you tastes soo good and the cravings, and sick stomachs and the making me fat. It's just not worth all the drama. I also wouldn't have to cook! Well, maybe I would... for Daniel and when I have kids. Haha I'm getting way too into something that's just not possible. The fact is: I have to eat because I am human. So, I AM trying to do a little better about my selection.

Side Note: Yesterday I ate a burger from the cafeteria at work ( I used to eat one every day I worked I LOVE THEM) it gave me the WORST indigestion ever! It was terrible so, I guess I've been doing well with eating smarter because my body starts to overreact when I eat yucky stuff.

But see what snuck into my selection?? Over there on the right looking all innocent... stupid carbs I hate that I love them so much! I know there's not much on my salad but it was only a dollar...

Day 24

Walking and walking up and down and up and down the stairs. I better be getting in better shape.. that sounded funny, but it gets the point across. I've also been reading and reading and reading. I'm really starting to enjoy reading novels.

Oh Sleep, How do I Love Thee

Ahh, feeling so refreshed after a beautiful night's sleep. I accidentally got to church about 30 minutes into the Sunday School lesson... oops. Daniel worked last night 10p-7a and he is working the same shift again tonight. Whatever happened to the schedule they promised when he was hired? 6a-230p M-F and occasional weekends? So, my aunt and uncle came to mom and dad's today. It was good seeing them. Also, Wednesday I will be starting a more strict kind of diet. It's time to chase away my tiny bulge that is threatening to overtake my waist. I will also start taking a bit of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) every day twice a day (BID in doctor terminology). ACV has a ton of health benefits. Check out www. earthclinic .com. We'll see what happens. I just find myself eating snacks and sweets far more than is reasonable. This is my reasoning for a new diet. Also, the fact that I sit on my tail all day three days a week if not more. I will be so excited when we get a new place hopefully it will have sidewalks or a gym. I need somewhere to walk and exercise. Oh how slack am I? No picture again to day and I'm looking around my house to see if I could just take a quick one and be done. Haha. Until tomorrow. It is definitely bed time work comes again tomorrow at 11a.

All by Myself

So, today was my first day at work officially alone. Completely alone. It wasn't as bad as I would have thought. It could have been better if I hadn't only had three hours of sleep... Why did I only have three hours sleep?

Well, let me explain. Last night Daniel came home and brought me some dinner from Zaxby's. He got us chicken strip meals and a drink... Mr. Pibb... It has been more than a year since I have had any form of Mr.Pibb or Dr. Pepper. (Hmm should probably explain that too... I had chicken pox at 16... it did weird things to my heart.. gave me extra heartbeats... SO now I can't have caffeine because it REALLY makes my heart race) ANYWAY Daniel looks at me and says, "Babe I got you some Mr. Pibb because I know it's your favorite." My response? *EVIL GLARE* :) Then he says, "Come on a few sips won't hurt." So, what do I do but give in.. I do love some Mr. Pibb and maybe I had grown out of it since it's been SIX YEARS! So, looooooong story semi-short: I'm not over it. My heart was racing for over an hour I took a third of a benedryl because it was already 12am and I had to be awake in less than 5 hours. Then, after another miserable hour of refusing to give in to tears, I took an Alprozolam (sp? who cares) it's the generic of Xanax. After about 30 minutes my eyelids started to get a little heavy so I picked up my book and started reading and finally fell asleep. :)

So, all that to say, I had a TERRIBLE night the night before my first day all alone at work. And oh my it was sooo slow at work and that did NOT help at all. (Sorry for all the theatrics I know I'm being a bit dramatic haha I don't know what it is with me lately). It also did not help that I had been hating the world for about three days prior to today. Ok well, I am drawing blank now so... I should probably get off. No picture for today.. I know you're soooo sad... if there's even anyone reading...

Last Day

Today was my last day at Target and I only had to work 3 hours! It was wonderful. I also went to the eye doctor and got my eyes dilated.. if you can avoid it, never do that before work. It gave me a big headache.

Beachin with my Daisy (Part 1)

So, I was determined to go to the beach... so I did. I don't think anyone EVER goes to the beach by themselves and there's good reason for that like.... it gets pretty boring being on the beach with just a dog. Also, for the simple fact that you have to be able to carry everything you take by yourself. The dog cannot and will not help you. They will actually make it a bit more difficult. All this to say. I actually had some fun! :) My Daisy was absolutely terrified the whole 6 1/2 to 7 hours we spent in the car today. Poor baby.
