Patience.
So, Daniel and I are currently learning how to wait patiently on the Lord. We are praying that God will show us what our next step is, and we are having to wait. I love that I haven't been able to move on from "Love is Patient" I am thoroughly convinced God wants me to learn this one! Haha! Our future is so unpredictable right now so we are having to lean fully on God which is exactly where he wants us so I guess that's good. Right now the options for our next step are limitless. Daniel could end up being hired full time and Novozymes, or he could go back to Wal Mart long enough to go to school to be an EMT-I, or he is also considering joining the navy or coast guard. His heart longs to help people by being a doctor and I believe with all my heart that if that's where God wants him then that's exactly where God will put him. We are just unsure of how to get there. For me, I am currently a substitute teacher at Cross Creek Charter in Louisburg. I have a passion for becoming a Medical Sonographer (Ultrasound Technician) that only God could have given me, but my going to school lies solely in where Daniel says we need to go (or if we need to stay). Pray for us please!

And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the faint hearted, help the weak, and be patient with them all. (1 Thess. 5:14)

Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. (James 5:7-8)
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; fret not over the one who prospers in his own way, over the man who carries out evil devices. (Psalm 37:7)

For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God. (1 Peter 2:20)

Let the journey begin.
So, I've decided starting... tomorrow. :) I am going to go though the Bible using the passage in 1Corinthians 13 about love and I am going to find out what Love actually means. What are we requires to do when we decide to love a person. It may be interesting... I'll give you updates on what I find. I also just recently got a devotional called "No Greater Love". It is based on a Christian movie.. a really great one at that! Ok, well, enough for tonight.

Awkward first post.
I love how the first post in a blog is always the 'awkward first post' where one describes why he or she decided to create a blog... well, here it goes. In my life right now I currently do not have a job, Daniel and I are living with my beloved parents, and quite frankly I may get bored with my time! Haha! So far it doesn't seem that will be the case since I haven't had time to just sit since I quit my job at Chili's two weeks ago... until now.
Daniel's aunt Vicky is in the hospital recovering from a tumor removal in her skull (not attached to the brain quite yet). She is recovering beautifully, but is not finished with hospital visits for a while.
Wood Baptist Church is praying for revival. So, of course we are under steady attacks, but we have already been given what we need to fight these attacks and when we are following Jesus and have a steady relationship with Him, we can see the attacks coming. It still doesn't make them easy, but we have hope and joy that this is not the end.
Daniel and I have been married now for 2 years and 6 months! I love him more and more every day and it is amazing to watch him growing closer and closer to Jesus everyday. He is my hero. He is working very hard at Novozymes as a tapper, through a temp agency. We are requesting that God would allow him to be hired permanently, but if not we know that He will still provide and Daniel is willing to follow and do whatever the Lord asks of him!
I think that will do for this post... until next time.
